About the Role
EMA is dedicated to building bold, culturally grounded stories for children and young adults. We are looking for sharp French and English Editors to join our remote team, working closely with authors to strengthen structure, clarity, and narrative flow while ensuring the highest publishing standards.
What you’ll do:
Edit and proofread manuscripts in French and/or English (children & young adults content)
Work closely with authors to strengthen structure, clarity, and storytelling
Ensure linguistic quality, consistency, and publishing standards
Support the editorial direction of EMA’s growing catalogue
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience as an editor in publishing or content production
Strong command of French or English (a great command of both is desirable)
Deep love for books, stories, and African narratives
Strong attention to detail and editorial judgement
