About the Role
EMA is building visually iconic African stories for children and young adults—and we need your art to bring them to life. We are looking for talented freelance Illustrators to design book covers, create abstract artwork, and craft engaging illustrations for our picture books and coloring books.
What you’ll do:
Illustrate children’s books and young adult publications
Design book covers and abstract artwork for books
Create illustrations for coloring books
Collaborate with authors and editors to match story tone and audience
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience in book illustration
Strong portfolio in one or more of the following:
Children’s book illustration
Abstract art for books
Cover page design
Coloring book design
Ability to work with briefs and meet timelines
Distinct visual style and storytelling through art
